Terms and Conditions for Blog Contributors

Introduction These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Power Through Peace & Unity Store’s “Our Voice” Blog (“Blog”) and its contributors (“Contributors”). By submitting content to the Blog, Contributors agree to be bound by these Terms.

Intellectual Property Rights

• 1. Ownership: Contributors retain ownership of the intellectual property rights in their submitted content. However, by submitting content, Contributors grant the Blog a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the content in any medium or format.
• 2. Attribution: The Blog will attribute the content to the respective Contributor unless otherwise requested or agreed upon.
• 3. Third-Party Rights: Contributors warrant that their submitted content does not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.

Content Guidelines

• 1. Originality: Contributors must submit original content that they have created themselves. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of third-party content is strictly prohibited.
• 2. Accuracy: Contributors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and truthfulness of their submitted content.
• 3. Appropriateness: The Blog reserves the right to reject or remove any content that it deems inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, or harmful.
• 4. Confidentiality: Contributors must not disclose any confidential or proprietary information belonging to third parties without proper authorization.

Liability and Indemnification

• 1. Disclaimer: The Blog disclaims any liability for the content submitted by Contributors. Contributors are solely responsible for their content and any consequences arising from its publication.
• 2. Indemnification: Contributors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Blog, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to the Contributor’s breach of these Terms or the use of their submitted content.
• 3. Monetary Liability Limitation: Any monetary liabilities deemed owed by Power Through Peace & Unity Store will be limited to the amount paid during the sign-up process to be a Contributor.

Termination and Modification

• 1. Termination: The Blog reserves the right to terminate or suspend a Contributor’s access to the Blog at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice.
• 2. Modification: The Blog may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on its website. Contributors are responsible for reviewing and complying with the most current version of the Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Tampa, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the Florida Circuit-Civil Mediators Society.

By submitting content to the Power Through Peace & Unity Store’s “Our Voice” Blog, Contributors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
