Welcome to the Power Through Peace & Unity Store: A Revolutionary Opportunity

We Want Your Products!

We are on a mission to make sure every single person who wants to shop Black Owned, can do just that. We do not want to control your business structure or pricing. Just as any big box retailer does, we will also market your products, goods and services. However, we do not wish to purchase your items wholesale. For a nominal fee and a percentage of each purchase, your products can be listed everywhere the Power Through Peace & Unity Store is hosted.

By becoming a Selling Partner with the Power Through Peace & Unity Store you will never have to worry about pre-fulfillment of orders or wholesale haggling. Imagine your items everywhere our Cooperative Partners are with your company’s branding and pricing being managed by you.

By partnering with us, you and your company will become a part of an active movement which prioritizes building tangible assets for our Own Community in the present, with sustainability for the future generations. We know how hard it can be to distribute your products alone. We know what it is like to be censored for our opinions, views and just because. As a result, we are building the foundation for the change we would like to see and hope we can do this standing shoulder to shoulder with you.

At the Power Through Peace & Unity Store, we are committed to empowering and uplifting vendors from diverse backgrounds. We offer two distinct options to help you showcase your products and services to our vibrant community, with a 2-year contract commitment.

Our free listing option allows you to list up to 5 items or services without any upfront costs. However, we do charge a 30% commission fee per purchase to help sustain our operations and keep the lights on. This option is perfect for those just starting out or looking to test the waters before committing to a paid membership.

For those seeking a more comprehensive and robust platform, our paid membership is the way to go. At $466.75 per quarter, you’ll enjoy the following benefits:

  • 500 Product Listings: List up to 500 products or services, giving you ample space to showcase your entire range. Upload your products to us by spreadsheet, and we’ll integrate them seamlessly into the store.
  • Reduced Commission Fee: Enjoy a lower commission fee of 24.5% per purchase, allowing you to maximize your earnings.
  • Culture Video Hosting: Share your brand’s story and values by hosting up to 20 Culture Videos within your custom-branded boutique. Culture Videos are powerful marketing tools for social media platforms, allowing you to connect with your audience authentically. Branded material is encouraged, but any submissions with watermarks from social media platforms or competitor websites will be rejected by the Store.
  • Global Exposure: Gain automatic listing in the prestigious Global Melanated Directory on www.blackbrownbeautiful.com, ensuring your awesomeness is visible to the world.
  • Priority Promotion: Enjoy guaranteed priority promotion for your products, ensuring they receive the attention they deserve.
  • Customized Boutique: Send us your brand assets, and we’ll customize your boutique to reflect your unique identity, creating a cohesive and immersive shopping experience for your customers.

For an additional fee of $50 USD, you can opt for our Guaranteed Priority Promotion package. This package includes the promotion of 5 selected items, with each item being promoted 10 times per month (2 promotions per item). This powerful marketing boost can significantly increase your visibility and drive more sales.

Vendor Contract

Terms and Conditions for Power Through Peace & Unity Store Vendors (But Don’t Worry, the Lawyers Made Us Do This)

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between the Power Through Peace & Unity Store (“the Store”) and its vendors (“Vendors”) for a contract term of 2-years. By listing products or services on the Store, Vendors agree to be bound by these Terms. The Store reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, because, you know, lawyers. Vendors are responsible for reviewing and complying with the most current version, but we’ll try to make it as painless as possible.

Vendor Options

The Store offers two options for Vendors:

  1. Free Listing: Vendors can list up to 5 items or services for free, with a 30% commission fee per purchase. Because, hey, we’ve got to keep the lights on somehow.
  2. Paid Membership: Vendors can opt for a paid membership at $466.75 per quarter which includes:
  • Listing up to 500 products (that’s a lot of products!)
  • 24.5% commission fee per purchase (a little lower than the free option)
  • Hosting of 20 Culture Videos inside their custom branded boutique (because who doesn’t love a good culture video?)
  • Automatic listing in the Global Melanated Directory on www.blackbrownbeautiful.com (because we want the world to see your awesomeness)

Guaranteed Priority Promotion

Vendors can opt for Guaranteed Priority Promotion of 5 items, promoted 10 times per month (2 promotions per item), for an additional fee of $50 USD. Because, let’s be honest, a little extra promotion never hurt anyone.

Intellectual Property Rights

  1. Ownership: Vendors retain ownership of the intellectual property rights in their listed products, services, and marketing materials. However, by listing on the Store, Vendors grant the Store a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display the content in any medium or format for promotional purposes. Don’t worry, we’re not going to steal your ideas or anything like that.
  2. Attribution: The Store will attribute the products, services, and marketing materials to the respective Vendor unless otherwise requested or agreed upon. Because, let’s face it, you deserve the credit for your hard work.
  3. Third-Party Rights: Vendors warrant that their listed products, services, and marketing materials do not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents. We don’t want any legal trouble, do we?

Content Guidelines

  1. Legality: Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring their products, services, and marketing materials comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We’re not lawyers (well, maybe some of us are), so we’re counting on you to keep things above board.
  2. Accuracy: Vendors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and truthfulness of their product descriptions, pricing, and any other information provided on the Store. No false advertising, please!
  3. Appropriateness: The Store reserves the right to reject or remove any content that it deems inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, or harmful. Let’s keep things family-friendly, shall we?
  4. Confidentiality: Vendors must not disclose any confidential or proprietary information belonging to third parties without proper authorization. We’re all about respecting privacy and trade secrets here.
  5. Vendor Submissions: Vendors must provide clear images and videos of products or services for listing along with a detailed product description including specifications and use purposes. Branded material is encouraged, but any submissions with watermarks from social media platforms or competitor websites will be rejected.

Liability and Indemnification

  1. Disclaimer: The Store disclaims any liability for the products, services, and marketing materials provided by Vendors. Vendors are solely responsible for their content and any consequences arising from its sale or promotion. We’re just the platform, folks.
  2. Indemnification: Vendors agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Store, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to the Vendor’s breach of these Terms or the sale or promotion of their products and services. Because, let’s be real, we don’t want any legal headaches.
  3. Monetary Liability Limitation: Any monetary liabilities deemed owed by the Power Through Peace & Unity Store will be limited to the amount paid during the sign-up process to be a Vendor minus the Administrative Fee. We’re not trying to bankrupt anyone here.

Refund Policy

The Store does not offer refunds for any reason. Sorry, but the lawyers said we have to be firm on this one.

Termination and Suspension

  1. Termination by the Store: The Store reserves the right to terminate or suspend a Vendor’s access to the Store at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice. But don’t worry, we’ll try to give you a heads up if we can.
  2. Termination by the Vendor: Vendors may terminate their relationship with the Store at any time by providing written notice. However, any outstanding fees or commissions owed to the Store must be paid in full before termination. We’re not trying to be sticklers, but we’ve got bills to pay too.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  1. Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida. Because, you know, that’s where we’re based.
  2. Arbitration: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Tampa, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the Florida Circuit-Civil Mediators Society. We’ll try to keep things civil, but if we can’t, at least we’ll have a process to follow.

Additional Terms

  1. Taxes: Vendors are solely responsible for calculating, collecting, and remitting any applicable taxes related to their sales on the Store. We’re not tax experts, so we’ll leave that part to you.
  2. Payment Processing: The Store will handle all payment processing for purchases made on the platform. Vendors will receive their share of the sale proceeds after deducting the applicable commission fees. Because, let’s be honest, we’ve got to make a little money too.
  3. Vendor Payments:
  • Physical Products: The first payment will be held for 21-business days or until confirmation of delivery to the Customer, whichever is sooner. The second and third payments will be made within 15-days of verification of shipping to the customer. Vendors will be paid within 10-business days of verification of shipping to the customer after their third successful product or service delivery. Vendors will be paid within 5-business days of verification of shipping to the customer after their tenth successful product or service delivery. We know, it’s a bit complicated, but we’re just trying to make sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Digital Products and Services: Vendors will be paid within 5-business days after their cited refund period has expired or the customer has provided a positive review on Google Maps for The Store, whichever is sooner.
  1. Marketing and Promotion: The Store reserves the right to promote and market Vendors’ products and services through various channels, including but not limited to social media, email campaigns, and advertising. Because, let’s be honest, no one ever said, please keep my brand a secret.
  2. Data Privacy: The Store will collect and process Vendors’ personal and business information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Vendors are responsible for ensuring they comply with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations. We take privacy seriously, but we’re counting on you to do your part too.
  3. Force Majeure: The Store shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, fire, strikes, natural disasters, or governmental acts. Because, let’s face it, sometimes things happen that are out of our control.

By listing products or services on the Power Through Peace & Unity Store, Vendors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions for a 2-year contract term. Or at least, we hope you did, because we put a lot of effort into making them as clear and lighthearted as possible (thanks, lawyers!).
